Eligibility Plus, Inc. is committed to protecting patient information

Below are the steps we use to ensure patient confidentiality.

• All documents that contain any patient information are secured in locked file cabinets onsite. Offsite records are maintained in secure filing cabinets.
• All documents obtained that are not longer useful are placed in secured bins for shredding.
• Computers are password protected and screensavers are engaged within 5 minutes of non-use and employees are logged out of the EPI system.
• Documents sent via fax are sent to a fax machine in a secured area.
• Use and disclosure of Protected Health Information is closely guarded, and the minimum Standards Rule is always in effect
